  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” which provides an estimate of how much your medical care will cost.

    -Under the No Surprise Act of 2022, health care providers are required to provide patients who do not have insurance or who will not be using insurance for payment, an estimate of medical items and services.

    -You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected costs of any non-emergency items or services.

    -You have the right to request a Good Faith Estimate from your health care provider before you schedule an item or service.

    -If you receive a bill that is $400 or more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

    -You will have access to the Good Faith Estimate through your Simple Practice Portal. Please save a copy for your records.
